SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word is set to host the 2024 Southland Conference Tennis Championships on April 18-21, 2024, at the McFarlin Tennis Center in San Antonio.
 
The UIW men's tennis team was crowned the regular season champions, ending with a 4-0 Southland Conference record to earn themselves the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. On Friday, April 19 at 6 p.m. the Cardinals will face the winner between No. 4 Lamar and No. 5 Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.
 
As the No. 5 seed, the UIW women's tennis team will also sit out on Thursday, with their first match set for Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m. against No. 4 New Orleans.
 
The four-day tournament will see a champion on the men's side at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 and the women's championship match will be held the following day on Sunday, April 21 at 10 a.m.
