SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's and men's cross country team is set to visit the University of Arkansas for the Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival meet on Friday, September 29.  
 

Coming off the last meet, Griffin Neal, and Ashlyn Royal both came away with top two finishes in the UIW Invitational. In the 8k Griffin secured his second first place finish of the season, finishing at 24:03. The men's team claimed the top four spots on their way to clinching their second first place finish of the year.  
 

In the 6k Royal led the women's team finishing second, clocking in with 21:19 time. Danielle Salinas placed ninth overall and finished with a time of 22:26.
