SAN ANTONIO – Six University of the Incarnate Word baseball student-athletes were named to the Southland Baseball All-Academic Teams announced the league office on Thursday. UIW and Nicholls tied for the conference lead with six honorees as the players were awarded for their skills in the classroom and on the field.  
 
Alec Carr – First Team – Sociology – 3.04 GPA
 
Steve Hayward – First Team – Business Administration – 3.51 GPA
 
Kayden Cassidy – Second Team – Business Administration, Management – 3.46 GPA
 
Jimmy DeLeon – Second Team – Business Administration, Finance – 3.31
 
Wilson Ehrhardt – Second Team – M.S. in Business Administration – 3.83
 
Isaiah Zavala – Second Team – Business Administration, Accounting – 3.53
