- Ryleigh Mata is tied for first in the SLC with 41 hits.

The Cardinals and Bears last faced on March 14, 2017. In this matchup, Baylor took a 3-0 victory in Waco, Texas.
UIW
- UIW is coming off its first SLC matchup, clinching the series against Nicholls.
- The Cardinals opened with a 5-4 victory before dropping game two, 9-4. They rallied on Saturday afternoon with a 9-1 run-rule victory.
