SAN ANTONIO – RJ Glasper (29) and Charlie Yoder (25) combined for 54 points as the University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team came back from an 11-point deficit to defeat Southeastern Louisiana, 92-84, at the McDermott Center on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Cardinals led 23-18 halfway through the first half until the Lions chipped away to take a 49-38 advantage as both teams headed to the locker room.
 
With eight minutes left in the second half, Glasper hit a step back trey to tie the game up, 69-69. Brandon Swaby attacked the rim and was fouled on the way up; he completed the three-point play and extended UIW's lead to 72-69. Yoder went on a six-point run of his own and the Cardinals led 78-72 with six minutes left. UIW outlasted the Lions, shooting 65 percent from the field in the second half to win the game, 92-84.
 
UP NEXT
The Cardinals travel to Houston Baptist University on Thursday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. CT and McNeese State University on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. for the final road stretch of the season.
