2022-23 (Junior): Morgan played in a career high 31 for the Cardinals this season. The junior averaged 7 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. Morgan's best game of the season came on the road against conference openent Nicholls, where he tied a career high knocking down seven 3-pointers and scoring a season high 23 points. For the second year in a row Morgan also preformed will in the classroom and was named to the Southland All-Academic Second team.
2021-22 (Sophomore): Morgan received
 the Southland Men’s Basketball Student Athlete of the Year and was also named to the Southland Conference Men’s Basketball All-Academic First Team.
The sophomore guard appeared in 26 games, averaging 11.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists along with managing 12 total steals. Shot 38.7 percent from the field, 38.5 percent (52-135) from 3-point range and 73.5 percent from the free throw line. Against the defending national champions, Baylor University, Morgan scored 17 points, grabbed a couple steals, and racked up an assist and a rebound. Scored a career-high 28 points in 37 minutes against Concordia University Texas, going 7-of-13 from three.Â
2020-21 (Freshman): Appeared in 16 games with one start against New Orleans on March. He logged 320 minutes and scored 111 points to help UIW reach the Southland Conference Tournament for the first time in program history. Morgan scored nine points in the first round of the SLC tournament against Houston Baptist. Throughout the year he shot 38.6% from the floor (34-for-88), 77.1% from the charity stripe (27-for-35) and a team-best 45.7% from the 3-point line (16-for-35). He dished out 17 assists and had 11 steals on the season. His season-high of 18 points came at Wyoming where we went 7-for-12 shooting and converted 4-for-5 3-pointers at Wyoming.

High School:Â Played four years at Father Henry Carr Secondary School. He helped the team win 2019 Early Bird Classic and earned Biosteel All-Canadian Futures award. As a junior, he averaged 22 points and seven assists per game. Morgan was a three-year academic honor roll recipient and was awarded the Teresa D'Antonio-Bottos award given to a student who exhibits courage, dedication and a genuine passion for athletics.Â
Personal: The son of Carol McGregor and Granville (Mike) Morgan of Brampton, Ontario... has two siblings, Justine and Jaylan... Father, Mike played at the University of PEI and his brother, Jaylan played basketball at Wilson State College and the University of Saskatchewan (currently at Humber College)...Josh is Criminal Justice major.
