Biography
2021-2022 (Sophomore): Yoder had an outstanding season for the Cardinals, despite only playing in 11 games. Yoder averaged 11.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 2.7 assists per game, in 32 minutes per contest, while shooting 44% from the field and 38.5% for the 3 point line. He scored a career high 25 points in 40 minutes against McNeese State University, going 6-of-9 from the field, Yoder also tied his career high 25 points against Northwestern State University, going 9-of-7 from the field. In the last contest of the season Yoders 25 points and 10 rebounds in a victory over Southeastern Louisiana, that performance marked the second double double of his career.
2020-21 (Freshman): Joined the Cardinals in January for the second semester of the season as part of NCAA COVID-19 eligibility addendum…appeared in six games with one start…logged 79 starts and averaged 4.5 points per game on 66.7 % shooting from the field (10-for-15), 3-for-4 from 3-point range and 4-for-5 at the line…scored a game-high 12 points in start against New Orleans and grabbed a season-best five rebounds at Abilene Christian in regular-season finale.
Previous: Played at Spire Institute Academy in Ohio for half a year.
(2016-2020) High School: (2016-2020) High School: While at Westview High School, Yoder led the team to four Northeast Corner Conference (NECC) championships, two NECC tournament titles, two sectional titles, and one regional crown. The Westview squad posted an outstanding 91-19 record during Yoder's career. He finished 25th on the Indiana State all-time scoring list with 2,163 points, and Yoder holds records at Westview for single-season scoring (734) and single-game scoring (52).
His senior year (2019-2020), he was named an Indiana-Kentucky All-Star, the first player at Westview High School to earn this distinction. He averaged 27.3 points per game while shooting 63% from the field and 82.4% from the free throw line. He also grabbed 11.0 rebounds per game, dished out 5.6 assists, and managed 3.3 steals per game.
Over the course of his career Yoder racked up the individual accolades. He was named to four NECC All-Conference teams, four KPC Media Group All-Area teams, was a two-time Indiana Core 6 Junior All-Star, and earned Supreme 15 All-State honors. He was also named KPC 2019 Player of the Year.
