THIBODAUX, La. – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team fell to Nicholls State University, 69-58, on Thursday night at the David R. Stopher Gymnasium.
The Cardinals had four student-athletes score in double figures.
Charlie Yoder (14),
Josh Morgan (13), RJ Glasper (12) and
Brandon Swaby (10) all led the UIW offense.
Glasper kicked off the Cardinals' first half charge, draining three treys as UIW opened up the game with a 20-10 advantage midway through the first half. The Colonels answered with a 10-point run to tie the game, 20-20, and headed into the second half with a 40-29 advantage.
Morgan knocked down a corner 3-pointer with just under seven minutes to go in the second half to put the Cardinals within five-points (55-50). The Colonels extended the lead to take the game, 69-58.

The Cardinals travel to the University of New Orleans on Saturday, Feb. 12, for a 4 p.m. CT tipoff.
