SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team returns to the McDermott Center on Tuesday, Nov. 22 against Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) at 6:30 p.m. before facing Dartmouth and Grambling State later in the week as a part of the MTE tournament at UTSA.
 
The Cardinals are coming into the week 1-3 after a close loss to Valparaiso (64-68) in Indiana. UIW is third in the Southland in assists, averaging 13 per game and they lead the conference in offensive rebounds, grabbing 14.5 per contest. Benjamin Griscti is tied for second in the Southland in blocks this season with two.
 
Our Lady of the Lake is 2-2 and coming off of a 94-81 loss to Wayland Baptist. The Saints have five student-athletes averaging double-digit points. Jones (11.3), Minjoth (11.3), Maldanado, (11.8), Helterhoff (13.8), Monzon (18.3).
 
Dartmouth has struggled out of the gates, starting the season 1-3, but the Big Green have three student-athletes shooting better than 50 percent from the 3-point line, Cornish (.529), Neskovic (.568), Haskins (.571).
 
Grambling began the season with two wins but fell in its last game to GCU by a score of 81-48. Carte'Are Gordon leads the Tigers in points per game with 15.7 and rebounds with seven.
