SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word softball team hosts Texas A&M-San Antonio at home before hitting the road to continue conference play this weekend. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. (CT).

- Annie Gunther leads the Cardinals with a 2.68 ERA and has thrown six complete games. Overall, she has a 4-6 record with 45 strikeouts.
- Ashley Trapp has also contributed significant innings for the Cardinals. Trapp has a 3-4 record with four complete games. Trapp has 45 strikeouts.
SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-SAN ANTONIO
- The Jaguars are 7-9 overall, it is their inaugural season as a program.
- Their last outing was against Southwest New Mexico where they won, 9-8.
- TAMUSA has four student-athletes hitting above .300 led by Britney Garcia, who has 14 hits and a .389 batting average. She has one RBI, one double, and one triple.

UIW will hit the road to compete against Southland Conference foe, Houston Baptist in Houston, Texas. First pitch will be at 5:00 p.m. CT on Friday night.
