SAN ANTONIO, Texas. – The University of the Incarnate Word softball team is back at home this weekend, opening Southland Conference play against Stephen F. Austin in a three-game series on Friday and Saturday. First pitch of game one is set for Friday at 5 p.m. (CT) at H-E-B Field.

.250 CLUB
The Cardinals have two hitting over .250 through the first ten games of the season. Sophomore
Maddie Boldt leads UIW with a .296 batting average and also four doubles. Senior
Teanna Lucio follows behind Boldt with a .292 batting average and a perfect 3-3 stolen base record.

- UIW holds a 2-13 record against SFA in the all-time series.
- The teams last faced off on April 12-13, 2019, when the Ladyjacks swept the Cardinals in a three-game set.
SCOUTING THE LADYJACKS
- The Bears are 7-7 overall after a, 4-0, win against Louisiana Tech on Tuesday.
- SFA currently sits in fourth in the Southland Conference standings.
- Shaylon Govan leads the Ladyjacks with a .450 batting average, including 18 hits, 12 RBIs four doubles and four homeruns.
