SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team added Indiana standout, Charlie Yoder as he signed his NLI, announced head coach
Dr. Carson Cunningham. Yoder was a four-year starter at Westview High School in LaGrange, Indiana, and currently playing a prep season at Spire Institute in Ohio.

After his senior season, Charlie Yoder was one of the 13 seniors in the state of Indiana chosen to play in the prestigious Indiana-Kentucky All-Star game. Yoder, a shooting guard/wing, joins the Cardinals after a productive high school career which saw Yoder rise to the top of Westview's record books and 25th on Indiana's All-Time scoring list. Yoder scored 2,163 points in four seasons. He holds Westview's school record in total points, single-season scoring (734) and single-game scoring (52).
The Indiana hooper led Westview to a 91-19 record to go along with four conference championships, two sectional championships, and a regional title. Yoder capped off his high school career averaging 27.3 points per game, 11 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 3.3 steals. He shot 63 percent from the field and 82.4 percent from the free throw line.
Yoder compiled a host of awards that included being named to four NECC All-Conference teams, four KPC Media Group All-Area teams and the KPC 2019 Player of the Year. He was twice named Indiana Core 6 Junior All-Star and earned Supreme 15 All-State honors. He also competed in the IBCA Top-100 Underclassmen Showcase, three times, the Hoosier Reunion All-Star Classic and was featured in the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top-60 Workout.
Charlie is the son of Rob and Cori Yoder and has a younger sister, Carrigan. He plans to major in business administration.
