SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team and Head Coach
Ryan Shotzberger announced the fall 2019 schedule, including scrimmages against University of Houston and Lamar University.
The Cardinals will begin fall practice on Sep. 16 and will practice on Monday-Wednesdays and Sundays. Monday-Wednesday practices will start at 3 p.m. (CT), while Sunday practices will start at 5 p.m. (CT). All practices are open to the public.
UIW travels to Houston on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. (CT). The Cougars advanced to the American Athletic Conference Championship, where they fell 4-3 to UConn and 13-2 to No. 7 ECU. Houston ended the 2019 season with a 32-24 record.
The Cardinals then host a scrimmage against Lamar on Oct. 20 at 12 p.m. (CT). Lamar ended its 2019 season with a 18-36 record.
