SAN ANTONIO -- Thirteen student-athletes on the University of the Incarnate Word synchronized swimming team earned prestigious postseason accolades for their accomplishments in and out of the pool.
UIW synchro had nothing short of a busy year. With its seventh-straight Regional Championship title and with six new Cardinals in the pool, UIW took fourth overall at the 2019 US Collegiate National Championship (March 27-31) --a meet that they hosted at Palo Alto College -- to wrap up the season.

Rebecca Barlow was an event champion at US Collegiate Nationals in the "B" Technical Element category, bringing home gold with 73.9184 points. In "A" Elements, UIW had four student-athletes place in the top 15 overall, with senior
Camille Guerre taking ninth.
