Fencing concludes season at NCAA Collegiate Championships

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's and women's fencing teams were represented by three student-athletes -- Alexander Sless, TJ Petrosewicz, Jr. and Oleksandra Rebchunovska -- at the NCAA Collegiate Championships to conclude the 2018-19 season.
 
NOTABLES
  • This was UIW's fourth consecutive national championship appearance; the Cardinals finished No. 16 in the team competition.
  • Graduate student Sless, a San Antonio native, finished third in Men's Epee and earned first team All-American honors.
  • Petrosewicz was 10th in Men's Epee and was selected to the All-American third team.
  • Rebchunovska was 24th overall in Women's Foil.
