LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The University of the Incarnate Word women's golf team, led by
Gracie Aday with a three-round score of 228, finished the Aggie Invitational at the NM State Golf Course & Club House on Wednesday.
THE LEADERS
Aday improved with each round at the Aggie Invitational. After recording an 81 (+9) in the first round, she cut down her strokes by seven, shooting a 74 (+2) in the second round. In her final round, Aday had a one-over-par (73) to wrap up her 228 (+12) three-round score for a share of 27th place.
Iliana Stowers and
Lauren Mancha tied for 29th after 54 holes. Stowers carded a final round of 76 (76-77-76) for an overall 13-over 229 finish. Meanwhile, Mancha played her best round of the tournament on the final day with a 2-over 72 round, improving five strokes from her first round (79-76-74).
UIW finished the tournament tied for seventh with a 911 three-round team score (309-301-301).

The Cardinals close out their fall tournament season at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Oct. 28-30.
