COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Three members of the University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team are set to compete in the International Tennis Association Regional Championships on Thursday at Texas A&M. 
 
Senior Jelena Dordan, redshirt junior Alejandra Landaluce and freshman Sophia Kermet will represent the Cardinals in the final competition of the fall season. The players will face high-caliber opponents in the region ranked by the ITA. Competition spans from Thursday through Monday as players advance.
 
"We want to get some match play under their belts because they haven't had too many matches this semester," head coach Devin Wilke said. "I'm hoping they show some good decision making and execute what they have been practicing and put that into matches. We want to prepare for the season ahead against against top schools and push to make it to the second day."
