SAN ANTONIO-- The University of the Incarnate Word synchronized swimming team will host the 2019 US Collegiate National Championships, announced USA Synchro. Competition will be held at the Palo Alto Aquatic Center in San Antonio, Texas from March 27-31.

I also see this as a wonderful opportunity for our school and city to host some of the best athletes from around the world that will help grow this Olympic sport in San Antonio. While UIW has always been a top contender against teams like Stanford and Ohio State we look forward to being on home turf and are looking to earn the Championship title in front of a loud home crowd."
At this meet in 2018, UIW took fourth overall behind Ohio State University, Stanford, and Lindenwood University.
US Collegiate Nationals are the final meet of the collegiate competitive season, and include collegiate teams from across the country. The tentative schedule lists Preliminary and Figure/Element competition on the 28
th and 29
th, with finals on the 30
th.
