HEAR FROM HEAD COACH SAMANTA DABBS
"We fought the whole match. UL runs a fast offense and did a very nice job terminating and taking care of the easy balls. We did some nice things offensively and defensively. Our middles, Perez and McGarity, got more involved this match and did some nice things at the net. We have a tough one tomorrow against Tulane and are looking to keep building on what we have."
Â
NOTABLES
- For the second consecutive match, senior Autumn Lockley led UIW and had double-digit kills (10).
- Freshmen Kendall Kilchrist (14) and Pilar Gonzaba (15) racked up double-digit assists for the second match in a row.
- Freshman Chloe Patton had her second consecutive match with double-digit digs (12).
