Biography
2020 (Junior): Appeared in eight matches and made three starts…appeared in 27 total sets…second on the team in assists with 175, averaging 6.48 per set...also contributed 52 digs on the year...had a career-high 67 assists against Abilene Christian on February 4.
2019 (Sophomore): Played in 26 matches, starting 16 totaling 85 sets...finished the season with five double-doubles...had career-high 18 digs against Abilene Christian...second on the team with 475 assists, averaging 5.59 per set...third on the team with 172 digs, averaging 2.02 per set...totaled 23 kills, 14 aces and 14 blocks...had a career-high 18 digs against ACU and three aces at Lamar.
2018 (Freshman): Appeared in 25 matches totaling 79 set...recorded her first career double-double against Abilene Christian with a career-high 54 assists and 12 digs...totaled three double-doubles for the season...tallied 588 assists along with 148 digs.
High School: A three-time first-team all-district selection...earned Academic all-district team honors in all four years...a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy.
Personal: The daughter of JJ and Wendy Gonzaba...has three siblings, Jade, Isabel and Caleb...majoring in psychology and a minor in biology.
