SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team ended the weekend with a 7-0 loss to UTSA on Sunday at the UTSA Tennis Center.
The Cardinals (2-2) were coming off a two-match day on Saturday, in which they defeated Trinity 4-3, and lost to St. Edwards 4-0. On Sunday, the Roadrunners didn't let the foot off the pedal. After taking the first two doubles matches to start the afternoon, they won every singles match to blank the Cardinals 7-0.
The Cardinals will be back in action with three more matches on the road this coming weekend. They play Colorado State on Friday at 4 p.m., and then Pacific and Air Force on Saturday at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. respectively. All three matches will be hosted by Air Force.
