Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll
2014-15 (Sophomore): Savedra led the Cardinals in total singles matches finished with 29. She played at #3 singles for the majority of the year and bounced between #1 and #2 doubles. Her main doubles partners were Rachel Sadiq and Taryn Strahl. She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2013-14 (Freshman): Savedra had a solid freshman season playing the majority of the time at No. 2 singles, but moving up to No. 1 when Ivana Katavic missed a few matches due to injury. She won 2-of-3 singles matches at the first two tournaments of the year hosted by Trinity and Lamar. She finished the season 8-22 in singles play. In doubles, she made up the No. 2 team with Jennifer Betancourt. They went 4-6 in conference play and she was 9-12 overall. She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
High School: Savedra played for El Paso High School, where she earned All-City MVP as a senior and was a three time district MVP. She came in third place in the State tournament as a senior.
Personal: Savedra is the daughter of Ed and Cynthia Savedra and is studying psychology with minor in sociology and Spanish. She has one sister, Kristen and a brother, Eric. She was born December 19, 1994.
