Colorado Springs – The University of the Incarnate Word women's team played three matches in two days at the Air Force Academy and dropped all three. They lost to Colorado State 4-3, Pacific 6-1, and Air Force 7-0.

The Cardinals (2-5) won the doubles point in their first two matches against Colorado State and Pacific, but would eventually lose the matches after singles. Defending Southland Conference player of the week, Matea Zemunik, and Rachel Sadiq were the only Cardinals to win their singles' matches on the weekend, at the #1 and #2 positions against Colorado State. Zemunik won 6-3, 6-4, and Sadiq came back after dropping the first set to win 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.

The Cardinals will look to end a 5-game losing streak when they host Louisiana Tech next Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Clarence Mabry Tennis Center.
