Dan Heep Baseball Camps

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The Dan Heep Baseball summer camp dates are set for 2016 with two youth skills camps and three high school evaluation camp dates.

Heep, the long-time head baseball coach at the University of the Incarnate Word, is the camp director and his staff includes Chase Tidwell, Ryan Aguayo and Matt Flores.  The youth skills camps will run on June 13-15 and July 11-13 for ages 5-13.  The camp day starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon.  The cost of the camp is $150 per week.  The camps will cover all aspects of baseball.  Current UIW players and San Antonio area coaches will be participating in the camp.

There will be three high school evaluation camp dates; June 21, July 19 and September 24.  These camps are for one day and start at 1 p.m. and costs $125.  They are geared for athletes who have a desire to play collegiate-level baseball.  The camps are run by UIW's coaching staff, players and other area coaches.  The players will be evaluated through a battery of pro-style workouts and drills.

Online registration for any of the camps is available at www.collegebaseballcamps.com/uiw.  Walk ups are welcome, but they will be assessed a $10 processing fee.
