TUCSON, ARIZONA - The University of the Incarnate Word synchronized swim team competed against University of Arizona for a second time over the weekend and finished on top on Saturday, 131-49.5. (

UIW won the team event with 83.2333 points while Arizona finished with 76.2. In all three categories, the Cardinals earned above an 8.0 from the judges.
Sydney Sprinkle repeated as leader in the solo routines with 83.2 points while
Emilee Wills followed with 82.4333 points.
In the duet free routines,
Katy Wiita and Sprinkle dominated with 83.3 points. Three Cardinals partner teams followed. Incarnate Word's
Sarah Cooke,
Beatriz Regly, and Wiita placed first in the trio's with a score of 83.0333. The UIW second team of
Madison Delgado,
Brooke Taylor, and Wills took second with 80.2333 points.
In the figure results, UIW put three swimmers in the top five.
Madison Craney earned first with 66.9219 points,
Madison Delgado came in third with 64.7297 points and
Helena Fedorenko closed in fifth with 62.1381 points.
The next competition for the Cardinals will be the South Collegiate Regional Championships in Williamsburg, VA. The meet will start on March 7.
