The UIW men are looking to bounce back after a tough loss at Northwestern State on Thursday, but will have their hands full with the Jacks (19-2, 8-0) who are receiving votes in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll.  The Cardinals (16-4, 4-3) are shooting 48.8 percent from the field for the season and average 84.6 points per game.  Denzel Livingston (Houston/Waltrip HS), 19.4 points per game, and Kyle Hittle (New Braunfels/New Braunfels HS), 17.2 points per game, are ranked third and fourth in the SLC in scoring, respectively.

The Jacks have won their last 16 games and are a perfect 9-0 at home this year.  They are holding opponents to just 61.6 points per game and boast four players scoring in double figures.  Jacob Parker leads the team with 15.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.

The Cardinals return home next week when they play Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Thursday.
