The Incarnate Word women's track and field team concluded the 2026 Southland Conference Outdoor Championship on Saturday, finishing seventh with 54 points.
The top finish of the day belonged to
Dasya Tolbert, who claimed the silver in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.36 seconds. Isabella Gonzaelz-Velasquez was also a scorer in the event, coming in sixth with a time of 1:02.74.
Abigail Morrow and Gonzalez-Velasquez each cleared the 1.67-meter bar in high jump, with Morrow placing fourth and Gonzalez-Velasquez taking fifth on a tiebreaker.
Harmoniey Rector ran the 400-meter finals in 56.71 seconds, finishing seventh, and then was part of the 4x400 meter relay team, alongside
Emma Williams,
Kallie Morrison, and Tolbert, who finished seventh with a time of 3:47.50.
The Cardinals will now wait for any selections into the NCAA West Regionals, which are set to take place from May 27th to 30th in Fayetteville, AR.
