FRISCO - University of the Incarnate Word standout Joel Talusen earned a spot on the Southland Men's Golf All-Conference First Team following a standout sophomore campaign on the course.

Talusen claims the accolade on the heels of winning the Individual Medalist honors earlier this month at the 2026 Southland Men's Golf Championship. Over the three-day championship, Talusen shot a 211 (-5) to claim Incarnate Word's first Individual Medalist award, as his 36-hole total of nine-under-par was one shot better than the previous school record, and his five-under-par over 54 holes put him in a tie for fifth all-time.
