Joel Talusen finished the final two rounds of the NCAA Bryan Regional today, shooting 11-over par (227) to finish 63
rd out of 75 golfers hosted at The Traditions Club at Texas A&M, which is 7,270 yards with a par of 72.
For the tournament, he recorded seven birdies and 32 pars over the course of the three rounds.
The sophomore in round two shot two-over par (74). Talusen tallied three birdies on the first nine to finish one-under par (35) before making the turn at 10 to start the second nine. He finished with four birdies.
He tallied a five-over par (77) in round three, where he finished even on the first nine. Talusen tallied just one birdie for the round.
Talusen was the 2026 Individual Medalist for the Southland Conference and is the first Cardinal to qualify as an individual since
Joe Buenfeld did back in 2022 for the Bryan Regional.
