The Incarnate Word women's track and field team had a pair of season-best times to wrap-up the Michael Johnson Invitational at Baylor University.
The Cardinals' 4x400 meter relay team of
Emma Williams,
Kallie Morrison,
Dasya Tolbert, and
Harmoniey Rector posted a season-best time of 3:48.09 in the relay, finishing sixth overall.
Rector also had a season-best in the individual 400-meter dash earlier in the day, posting a time of 56.25 seconds, placing 20th. She came in just behind Morrison, who took 19th with a time of 56.17 seconds.
Over in field, Abbigail Morrow placed fifth in high jump, clearing 1.65 meters and
Jai'Lin King finished 10th in the event with a height of 1.55 meters.
Janelle Herrera also had a top 10 finish, placing 10th in shot put with a distance of 12.66 meters.
Incarnate Word goes to Austin for the UT Invitational next weekend, their last scheduled meet before the SLC Championship.
