The Incarnate Word Women's Track and Field Team had a pair of top-five finishes on Day 2 of the 2026 Southland Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship, highlighted by a third-place finish from the Cardinals' 4x400m relay team.
Incarnate Word saved their best showing for last as the relay team of
Emma Williams,
Kallie Morrison,
Dasya Tolbert, and
Harmoniey Rector crossed the finish line in 3:45.54. That time not only won the team a bronze medal but was also the fifth-fastest time in Incarnate Word Indoor Track & Field history.
Tolbert took fifth in the Women's 60m Hurdles, coming in at 8.57 seconds.
Rector was the last of the Cardinals to score in the team total for the day, earning points with her 56.39-second time in the Women's 400m.
Next up for Incarnate Word is the NCAA National Championships, held from March 13th to March 14th in Fayetteville, AR.
