SAN ANTONIO - The University of the Incarnate Word men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete at the Southland Conference Championship. The meet will take place in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Last Time Out 

Eric Pineda led the way for the Cardinals, finishing in 26th with a 23:47 time. Freshman, Christian Castro finished behind Pineda finishing in 58th with a 24:09 time.    

Freshman Stoya Laydevant (22:08) led the way for the women's side for the Red and Black as she finished 127th. Vera Maisaje finished right behind Laydevant in 149th place with a 22:19 time.   
 
The Cardinals will be competing at the Walter P. Ledet Track Complex with the women's 6k at 8:30 am and the men's 8k starting at 9:30 a.m.
