SAN ANTONIO – Dalton Beck from the University of the Incarnate Word baseball team was crowned the Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year, also landing him a spot on the all-conference first team.
Cameron Caley earned Southland All-Conference Second Team status.

Newcomer of the Year & All-Conference First Team
Beck leads the SLC in slugging percentage (.733), hits (85), RBIs (67), and home runs (18). He's top three in nine different conference categories while holding the UIW season record for most RBIs, doubles, hits, home runs, and total bases. Across the NCAA, he's 39
th in slugging percentage, 25
th in hits, and 26
th for RBIs. He tallied four-plus RBIs in seven games this season. Beck is also perfect on stolen base attempts, going 7-for-7 on the season.
Cameron Caley – Outfield – All-Conference Second Team
Caley is first in the UIW record book for walks in a season and in the SLC with 54. He also holds the record for runs scored in a season (60), which is good for second in the Southland Conference. He has the second-best batting average (.327) with his 60 runs, 67 hits, 12 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, and 42 RBIs. He also leads the team with his .472 on-base percentage.
