SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team is set to host walk-on tryouts on Wednesday, September 20 at 6 p.m. The tryouts will be held at Sullivan Field, sponsored by H-E-B and interested students will need to contact cardinalbaseball@uiwtx.edu and stumph@uiwtx.edu to participate.
 
Participants must meet the below requirements:
 

• Must be a full-time student at UIW enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours.
• Must have completed a physical with the University's health services or primary care doctor within six months of the tryout.
• Must bring an insurance card to the tryout.
• Must provide results of a sickle cell screening prior to tryout.
• Must bring a filled-out copy of the tryout waiver and the student-athlete tryout form.
