SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's golf is set to host the 2023 Southland Conference Championship at the Hyatt Hill Country Golf Club. The Cardinals will be competing against Augusta University, Bryant University, Francis Marion, Houston Christian, Lamar, New Orleans, Nicholls, Southeastern Louisiana, and Texas A&M – Commerce from April 25-27.

• The Cardinals have competed in four tournaments so far this semester, with their best finish coming when they placed second at the HCU Montgomery Classic
• Joe Buenfeld led the team with two top five finishes this season. His first came at the HCU Montgomery Invitational and later at the Big Texan.
• The Cardinals lineup for the final tournament of the season will be Joe Buenfeld, Angel Guerra, Ken-Marten Soo, Drew Hermesmeyer, Jack Ward and Thomas Chalk.
