SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team has added Jonathan Cisse to the 2022-23 roster, announced head coach Dr. Carson Cunningham on Friday.

"We're thrilled to welcome Jonathan Cisse, a junior college graduate, to Incarnate Word," commented Cunningham. "He plays a smooth game with real pace and can shoot the apple.

"This season, he was all league and played great at the national junior college tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. The season before, he was named Louisiana's junior college player of the year. And in high school at St. Thomas More in Lafayette, Louisiana, he thrived under legendary coach Danny Broussard. It's exciting to now be able to call Jon an Incarnate Word Cardinal."
