SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate baseball team fell to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), 6-0, on Tuesday night at Roadrunner Field.
Grant Smith finished the night with two hits.
Roberto Gonzalez,
Nixon Brannan and
Ridge Rogers all had one hit apiece.
Carson Rollins pitched two innings with zero hits and zero runs.
The Cardinals held the Roadrunners scoreless until the fifth inning when UTSA scored on an error to take a 1-0 lead.
In the bottom of the sixth, the roadrunners added five runs to the board (5-0). After scoring another run in the eighth frame, UTSA took the game, 6-0.

The Cardinals host the University of Texas at Arlington in a three-game series beginning on Friday, March 11, at 2 p.m. CT at Sullivan Field, sponsored by H-E-B.
