SAN ANTONIO – University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis head coach
Tom Rees announced the addition of Nitika Girish to the roster for the 2022-23 season.
"Nitika's positive outlook, energy and determination make her perfect the perfect fit for our program," Rees said. "She is extremely driven on and off the court and will play a key role in helping us put this program on the map. She has already established great relationships with our staff and players that will allow her to make a seamless transition to college life in the fall."
Girish comes to UIW from Georgetown, Texas, where she made it to the 5A State Tournament as a freshman in high school. She also qualified for the 2021 International Tennis Federation (ITF) J4 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
