SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team is back home at the McDermott Center to host Northwestern State University (NSU) and Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) on Thursday (7:30 p.m. CT) and Saturday (4 p.m.).

LAST TIME THEY MET
UIW last faced NSU on Jan. 27 when the Demons defeated the Cardinals, 79-70, in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Charlie Yoder led the UIW offense with 25 points.
Josh Morgan and
Bradley Akhile also contributed a double-digit performance in the close matchup. The Cardinals are 2-3 against NSU at the McDermott Center.
The Cardinals and Lions last played on Jan. 29 in a close matchup at the Southland Conference Tip-Off Event. UIW fell, 78-68, in the back-and-forth match-up. Robert "RJ" Glasper contributed a 22-point performance to lead the UIW offense. Yoder also registered a double-digit performance with 12 points. The Cardinals are 1-2 against the Lions at the McDermott Center.
UIW
The Cardinals are coming off a tough week in Louisiana where they fell to Nicholls (69-58) and New Orleans (84-57). UIW is 4-8 at the McDermott Center this season.
NSU
NSU is coming off a tough road series where it fell to Houston Baptist University (76-69) and McNeese State University (80-75). The Demons are 7-19 overall and 3-6 in Southland Conference play when heading to San Antonio.
SLU
SLU heads to UIW after a perfect weekend, defeating both McNeese (91-86) and HBU (89-84). The Lions are 14-12 overall and 6-3 in Southland Conference play heading to the McDermott Center.

- Glasper leads the Cardinals in scoring with 377 points this season, averaging 15.1 points a game.
- Brandon Swaby leads UIW on the boards with 118 on the season.
