PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team bested Prairie View A&M 4-3 on Friday at the PVAMU Tennis Courts.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals won the doubles point to open the match. After Jelena Dordan and Alejandra Tamayo won on court two, the Panthers drew even with a victory on court one. Sophia Kermet and Taylor Parkinson clinched the point with a win on court three.
 
In singles, Dordan captured another victory in the No. 1 spot, but PVAMU came back on court three with a victory. UIW also had wins on courts four (Sara Djurdjevic) and six (Tamayo) to claim the 4-3 victory.
