Women’s tennis prepares to face Prairie View A&M

SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team is set to face Prairie View A&M on Friday at noon (CT) at the PVAMU Tennis Courts.
 
THE CARDINALS
UIW is 1-2 overall after falling at home against UTSA on Feb. 2. The Cardinals opened the season on Jan. 29 with a 7-0 victory over Laredo Community College at the Mabry Tennis Center.
 
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
PVAMU is 0-8 overall after dropping a 7-0 decision to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Feb. 4. In addition to falling to TAMU-CC twice, the Panthers have lost to two other Southland Conference Schools: New Orleans (7-0, Jan. 21) and Sam Houston State (6-1, Jan. 18).
 
HOME CONTESTS
The Cardinals are on the road for two matches (at PVAMU on Friday and at Louisiana-Lafayette on Feb. 9) before returning home to host Butler on Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. Fans enjoy free admission to all regular season matches at the Mabry Tennis Center.
