SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team plays their final home stand Southland Conference game on Sunday morning to host the Beaumont Cardinals of Lamar University. The senior day match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. (CT).
 
UIW
Coming off a tough loss against Texas A&M- Corpus Christi on Friday, the UIW Cardinals will focus on an early offensive push to start the match day in order to secure the doubles point. From then on, clinching singles points will be crucial for San Antonio's Cardinals. Specifically on court one, senior Victoria Kareh has been a frequent flyer as the top-seeded singles player, putting up 19 set points in her last two matches (Apr. 5, March 31).
 
LAMAR
The LU Cardinals, now 6-12, 3-5 SLC, are looking to continue rising the ranks of the Southland standings, and are coming into Sunday's match off a 1-6 road loss against Abilene Christian. In away matches, LU holds a 0-9 record on the season.
