BEAUMONT, Texas -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team could not hold to Southeastern Louisiana University's roster as they dropped their Saturday dual by a 6-1 finish.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions captured the doubles point with wins on courts three and two.
 
UIW's Victoria Kareh solidified the team point for the Cardinals in singles play. Battling at No. 2, Kareh dominated, knocking her opponent down in two sets (6-3, 6-4).
 
On court five, Alejandra Tamayo had a three set standoff, coming back from down a set to win the second, but ultimately came up short in the super set. At No. 1 Jelena Dordan, narrowly missed a second set comeback but ultimately fell 6-2, 7-6.
