DALLAS -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon in Dallas.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals kicked off the dual with a win in doubles. After a victory on court three due to a shortage of Golden Lion student-athletes, the UIW duo of
Gabriel Evans and
Sebastian Mortier bested Harris and Ledbetter, 6-2, to secure the point.
Paco Bendana and
Caleb Dyer, playing in the No. 2 spot, topped Ross and Lewis, 6-0.
In singles,
Oliver Valentinsson,
Dennis Boisseau, and
Paco Bendana each secured a double bagel win (6-0, 6-0). Playing in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively, Evans (6-4, 6-1) and Mortier (6-0, 6-1) captured points six and seven as the Cardinals won 7-0.
