2015-16 (Freshman): Mortier played at #3, #4, and #5 singles for the Cardinals. He had an overall singles record of 12-18 and 1-4 in conference play. He paired up with Josip Smoljan in doubles for a 5-5 record, and with partner, Joey Vatanadilok, he finished with an 8-8 record. He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Mortier was on the soccer, tennis, hockey and badminton teams at Karl-Rehbein-Schule. He was a member of the Eintracht Frankfurt Tennis e.V.
