NACADOCHES, Texas -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team couldn't keep up with Stephen F. Austin Saturday afternoon, falling 65-48 inside William R. Johnson Coliseum.
Junior guard
Imani Robinson recorded her first double-double of the season, finishing with 15 points, 10 rebounds, four steals, three blocks and an assist in the loss.
NOTABLES
- Robinson delivered 10 rebounds, giving her 105 on the season. With that, she becomes the first Cardinal in UIW DI history to record at least 200 points and 100 rebounds in three consecutive seasons – first overall since Ifunanya Mora (2010-14).
- She finished the game with 15 points and tied her season-high with three blocks, her 10th double-digit scoring performance and third game recording multiple blocked shots.

- Sophomore guard Liz Holter connected on a three in the first quarter, extending her career-best three-pointers-made streak to five games.
- Sophomore forward Olivia Noah recorded a career-high seven rebounds.
- As a team, UIW shot 80.8 percent from the line (21-26). The Cardinals have now shot 75 percent or better in six straight games and seven of their last eight.
HOW IT HAPPENED
QTR 1 (12-23): The Cardinals came out stagnant in the opening minutes, allowing SFA to jump out to a 14-4 lead.
Robinson was determined to make an impact, scoring seven of the Cardinals first 10 points, while also leading the team with three rebounds. She played al 10 minutes of the first quarter, bringing intensity and high levels of effort to the Cardinal cause.
QTR 2 (22-38): SFA couldn't seem to miss early in the second quarter as they widened the lead to 30-14 with 8:25 left in the half. The Cardinals fought to get the ball into the paint on offense but couldn't convert often enough to keep pace. SFA led by 16 at the break.
Robinson finished the first with nine points, five rebounds and two blocks to lead the team.
QTR 3 (33-52): UIW came out of the break with a strong effort to start the quarter. Unfortunately, the Cardinals couldn't convert on their open looks often enough and the Lady Jacks managed to grow their lead by three more points. Freshman guard
Macy Ray and junior guard
Angelica Wiggins led the team with three points each.
