HOUSTON -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team will participate Friday at the Rice Invitational in the penultimate competition of the fall season.
The event runs through Sunday and features stiff competition from a variety of schools, including Texas, TCU, Baylor, TCU, SMU, Miami, Denver and Texas A&M - Corpus Christi.

Seven Cardinals compete this weekend:
"This will be a good experience for our freshmen playing against top schools," head coach
Jonas Andersson said. "We want to try and make pushes deep into the tournament in both singles and doubles. We've had lots of success in recent years at the Rice Invitational."
