HOUSTON -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at Houston on Sunday afternoon at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
In doubles, the Cardinals fell on court two but responded on court one when Brandelyn Fulgenzi and Victoria Kareh secured a 6-3 win over Ndindi Ndunda and Mimi Kendall-Woseley. Unfortunately, the Cougars went on to win on court three, capturing the doubles point.
 
Singles saw Fulgenzi top Kendall-Woseley, 7-5, 6-3, on court two, but Houston had wins on the remaining singles courts for the victory.
 
UP NEXT
The Cardinals are set for their home opener on Saturday against Presbyterian College at 10 a.m. (CT).
