SAN ANTONIO -- University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball head coach, Dr. Carson Cunningham, has added Jordan Caruso to the 2018-19 roster.
 
"We are excited to announce the signing of Jordan Caruso, a mature, academic-minded, aspiring business major with a nice pick and roll game, sneaky-good hops, and a throwback pull-up jumper to go with a new school three-pointer," Cunningham said.
 
"He went to high school at the prestigious Staten Island Academy on the East Coast before prepping for college hoops for a year on the West Coast," Cunningham continued. "We're glad he decided to meet in the virtual geographic middle, in San Antonio, at storied Incarnate Word."  

Caruso is a 6-3 guard who averaged 29 points per game in his senior year of high school, where he was named student-athlete of the year. He was also named player of the year in New York City's Athletic Conference of Independent Schools. After graduation from Staten Island Academy, he enrolled at Middlebooks Academy in Los Angeles.
