Des Moines, Iowa – Sarea Alexander had a solid day of competition at the 2018 USATF Outdoor Nationals meet held at Drake Stadium.

Despite having suffered an injury during the warm ups, Alexander was able to finish 13th overall with a leap of 6.04m/19-9.75. Sha'Keela Saunders recorded a mark of 6.54m/21-5.50 to win the event.
